Day One of Springfied Trip

We went to Springfield, IL this summer with Tom's parents and the Girardin kids. We visited the Lincoln Museum and many Lincoln sites. The weather was great! It was extremely unseasonably cool. Our first stop was the Lincoln Museum. Below are the kids posing with the wax young Lincoln in front of his log cabin.


They had a fun kids room which included time period toys and dress-up. Here are the oldest and the middle one dressing up as Lincoln and Mary Todd and then Fredrick Douglas and Sojourner Truth.
