Pictures with my Tripod

Pinewood Derby 2011

Ben's Pinewood Derby car was all ready to go but Ben unfortunately was running a fever. So, Amelia took his place. His car won 2 races and lost 2 races. He did a great job. Here are some pictures and some video of the big event.

Opening Presents Christmas Eve

Happy Birthday, Jesus!

Charlotte's Getaway

Charlotte's First Present

Well, we have had presents under the tree for several weeks and Charlotte has up until now just looked and touched them. Today, as we were cleaning she started tearing the wrapping paper off of her present from us. Oh no, she now knows what to do with presents. Not a present under the tree will be safe. Hopefully this gift will entertain her for a while and luckily Christmas Eve is tomorrow.

Building Gingerbread Houses

Grandma had us over for gingerbread house decorating. She invited her neighbor, Davey, as well. He is pictured with Ben. Then when the Konieczkas came to visit we demolished them with a hammer and had an extreme home make-over.

Mia's Favorite Ornaments

The Feast of Saint Lucy

In honor of Saint Lucy's feast day we made Mia's a wreath with candles to wear and Mia's made cinnamon rolls. We took a number of pictures and video of the many stages.

First, we had to knead the dough...

Then, we rolled out the dough and added the inside.
We rolled it back up and cut slices.
We let them rise in a warm place.

Next, we baked them in the oven.

Tada, yummy cinnamon rolls for breakfast!

Pray for us, Saint Lucy!

Charlotte and Bear - 9 months

I know she is 10 months now but she is 9 months in the picture.

Our Little Sheep-eee-hoo!

Charlotte was a sheep in the nativity play.
Joe was a shepherd but I don't have any pictures of him. He looked like Linus from Charlie Brown's Christmas.
