Easter 2012

We celebrated our first Easter in our new home. The Easter bunny filled their baskets in the dining room and hid eggs in the living room. I almost didn't get pictures because the batteries in my camera were dead but Daddy saved the day (and an opened gas station.) Check out the cutie below celebrating his first Easter! He is so smiley.

Easter Crafts

We did a couple of crafts this Holy Week. This is the last supper. The kids colored the apostles and Jesus and placed them around the table.

And then after crucifying Jesus and placing him in the tomb...

He rose from the dead and here are Peter, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the Mother of James as well as the guards and angels.

Easter 2011

We had a nice Easter this year. Here are pictures of the kids and their Easter baskets. Also, a pictures of them in their Easter outfits. Even on a cloudy Easter they squint for the camera.

Ben got Despicable Me and a Bounce-back Ball.

Amelia got Josefina and Addy.

Joe got a Map Game and a puzzle.

Charlotte (show here enjoying her first peep) got a book and chalk.

Easter Baskets on Easter Morning

Easter morning was very busy with exploring Easter baskets, eating Pierogies and apple bread, getting dressed for church, finding hidden eggs, going to Mass, and traveling to Grandma's for brunch.

Joe got a Thomas and a Percy train. He also got sunglasses. He was the last one up.

Charlotte received a bunny and a book.

Ben got Mario cards and a Nerf Basketball hoop. He was the first one up.

Amelia received a Dorothy doll and a Fancy Nancy book.

Decorating Easter Eggs 2010

We decorated Easter Eggs on Saturday. We colored over 3 dozen.




And then... oops!! Blue dye all over Joe.

Easter Best

Easter Morning

Easter morning the kids got up between 7:30 and 8 am. The oldest receive a book called the Scrambled States of America and a Batman v-tech game. The middle child received a Doll House Sticker book and a Little Mermaid v-tech game. The youngest received a hopping bunny and chick and an Elmo color book. Then they looked for eggs and we dressed up in our Easter best and went to Mass.

Well, this is our third post for Easter. Be sure to check out the other two. The kids enjoy a great brunch and then an Easter egg hunt. They ate tons of candy and still wanted more.

Easter Morning

What a wonderful morning! The kids enjoyed their Easter baskets and even the youngest found an egg on his first Easter. The oldest received sunglasses and the Bee Movie, the middle received a basket and streamers for her bike (an effort to encourage her to ride it more frequently), and the youngest got a Bear's hat and a book. It was a great first Easter for the youngest. He really enjoyed the marshmallow bunnies and the jelly beans. There will be more posts to come... Easter church clothes and Easter at Grandma's.
