We started ballet classes through a friend who teaches them every other Saturday. Our first class we were a little shy but we did much better our second class.

ZOO TRIP

We went to the Madison Zoo on May 9. We went with four other families. It was overcasted but it didn't rain. We had a great time. We saw lions, flamingos, all sorts of bears, rhinos, penguins, and monkeys. Above is our whole group watching the lions.

Happy Birthday to You!

Happy 1st Birthday!

Happy Birthday, Little One! Yesterday, we had his first birthday party. Here are some pictures and video from the party. For his presents he received a popper, a police car, some farm magnets, and a tool bag with tools, as well as some nice monetary gifts. Thank you! The oldest one this morning said, "Mom, is (insert name) one now?" I said, "Yes." He then says, "He doesn't look any bigger."

Outside

I took these pictures while we we outside the other day. It is so nice that the weather is finally warming up. It was 65 degrees on Tuesday and today it was 77 degrees. I hope it doesn't warm up too quick.

A Day (a couple hours) at the Museum

We went to the Discovery Center Museum today. It is free from 1-5 pm on Thursdays. So, with a friend who has four little ones, we all went to the museum. I think it is something we will do more frequently in the future.

Playing Outside

Here are the two younger ones playing outside. The middle child got a basket and streamers from the Easter Bunny to encourage her to ride her bike. The youngest still isn't making any progress walking so I try to keep him in the walker as much as possible because it is so dirty on the driveway and the grass is still icky. The oldest will hopefully learn to ride his bike without training wheels this summer.

Easter at Grandma's House

Well, this is our third post for Easter. Be sure to check out the other two. The kids enjoy a great brunch and then an Easter egg hunt. They ate tons of candy and still wanted more.
