Happy 7th Birthday, Ben!

Today was quite a busy day. The morning started with doughnuts and chocolate milk. Then Ben opened some more birthday presents. He got 2 paddle and ball sets, a hacky sack, and a rubber band powered airplane (all bought at Michaels last night when I was stuck there in a rain storm). He also got MarioKart cards purchased from E-bay and mailed from Alaska. Then we headed for the Newburns. We planted basil and flowers. We made pizzas and ate cake. I had a dentist appointment, then swimming lessons, dinner, and baseball practice. What a day! Happy birthday, buddy. We love you!

An Early Birthday Gift

Well, because rain was expected for Ben's birthday we gave him his birthday gift a few days early. Considering that I bought the bike the day after Thanksgiving, this was pretty good for me. It was long overdue. He has grown quite a bit and his bike was way too small.

Joe's 3rd Birthday

Joe celebrated his 3rd birthday last week. He got several Sesame Street books, a Buzz Lightyear Pez dispenser. He got Toy Story sheets and a cookie bouquet. He also got books and big boy Thomas undies. We made a Toy Story toy box cake. We have promised him a fish tank, but just haven't had time to go to the pet store.

Joe's Potty Training

Joe has spent a couple weeks potty training. We were off to a rocky start the first couple days but now he does very well. He still sleeps with a diaper. I have no idea where all that pee comes from at night. He has a sticker chart so he gets a sticker each time he goes to the bathroom. And he has received other yummy treats like rice krispy treats for having successful bowel movements.

Happy Easter!

Easter Baskets on Easter Morning

Easter morning was very busy with exploring Easter baskets, eating Pierogies and apple bread, getting dressed for church, finding hidden eggs, going to Mass, and traveling to Grandma's for brunch.

Joe got a Thomas and a Percy train. He also got sunglasses. He was the last one up.

Charlotte received a bunny and a book.

Ben got Mario cards and a Nerf Basketball hoop. He was the first one up.

Amelia received a Dorothy doll and a Fancy Nancy book.
